Matthew N. Klein: Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Matthew Klein co-founded Fuor Digital in March of 2006. Matt, who has a background in software engineering and development, launched Fuor Digital to help companies make better digital marketing decisions by providing the tools to evaluate their online effectiveness. As President and Chief Executive Officer, Matthew oversees company strategy, direction and ensures clients achieve their digital media and business objectives.
Prior to co-founding Fuor Digital, Matt served as Vice President of Digital Marketing for Chicago-based Magnani Continuum Marketing from 2002-2005, where he advised brands such as CNA Insurance, MacGregor Golf, Marriott, Libman, and Norwood Promotional Products on digital marketing strategy and execution. It was here that Matt realized there was a gap in the marketplace for an agency that brings the proper blend of creativity, technological prowess and traditional media disciplines to elevate the level of strategy, planning and management of digital media marketing campaigns. Based on this realization, Matt went on to create Context, a service company that ultimately partnered with Kelly Scott & Madison in 2005, paving the way for Fuor Digital.
Some of Matt’s other accomplishments include launching Generator Corporation in 1998, a Chicago-based web development company that he led to international and national acclaim through the servicing of Fortune 1000 clients such as: Brunswick, Verizon, U.S. Robotics, 3Com, InstallShield and Ameritech. From 1995 to 1998, Matt worked with Microsoft as the lead software architect, engineer and/or developer of over 15 Web-based applications for brands such as: Staples.com, The Finish Line, Solo Cup, Shopping.com, Programmer’s Paradise, New York City Kiosks and Boston’s Children’s Memorial Hospital. He was named a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) each year.
Matt sits on many speaking panels, authors regular columns on the state of the digital marketing industry, and was a contributing author to two definitive guides for early E-Commerce development on Microsoft platforms: “The Microsoft Merchant Server Book”, (Ventana Publishing, 1996); and “Special Edition Using Microsoft Site Server”, (Que, 1997).
Matt graduated Summa Cum Laude from DeVry Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL in 1997 with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems.
